Community gardens often keep waiting lists, so apply early in the year. Check the listing for hours, address and Google rating.

Little nice place to relax or unwind from the city.

The Pagoda is beautiful, both outside and inside. There is air conditioning and heat inside the Pagoda, as it is completely enclosed, and also a place to buy tea and coffee, plus seats to look out the windows upstairs. The Pagoda was a gift to the City of Norfolk by the government of Taiwan. It is in the shape of an octagon, two stories high. All the materials were made in Taiwan then assembled in Norfolk. It has been there since 1989.

The pagoda is open on Friday nights 7pm-11pm. The food is some pretty yummie soul food. The person who takes your order stands behind the bar. After you order and get your food, I suggest going to the 2nd floor and eating. The view is really pretty. I personally will be trying to go closer to 6pm to see the sunset.

My wife and I enjoy the Pagoda. It allows us to "get away" in our own back yard (7 cities). We casually walk around taking in all of the greenery and soothing water sounds while people mill about lost in their own worlds.

I had no idea this place existed until my my husband and I decided to turn right instead of left when approaching town point park. Extremely peaceful and my daughters enjoyed feeding the really big koi in the pond. I plan on visiting more in the future.
